In this great tutorial you will see how to make a cool bling bling glitter text effect in Adobe Photoshop, can also easily be adapted to shapes and objects instead of text.

1.
Start with your text tool and make a letter, make it big and thick, to give it the best effect.

Right click the text layer and choose rasterize layer, to make it a normal layer.
Hold down ctrl and click the layer to load its selection.
Make a gradiant going from a white to a light blue color and drag it on the selection, so it looks like the image below.

Go to filters -> filter gallery and find the filter called halftone pattern, and set it as shown below.

Double click the layer in the layers panel to get to the layers style panel and give it settings as shown below.

Again go to filters -> filter gallery and now find the filter called accented edges and set it as in the image below.

Go to image -> adjustments -> hue and saturations and drag the handles as in the image below, to change the colors and saturation.

And you are done, a very easy but cool looking text style, can be made within minutes.
