Tutorial shows you how to create dynamic text effect in flash. To create this lesson, you don't have to use A.S. code. You can use this effect for any flash banner, text animation.... Let's go!
Step 1
Create a new flash document, choose Modify > Document (Ctrl+J) and set Width to 300 and Height to120px. Frame rate set to 22fps (Frames per Second).
Step 2
Double click on layer 1 to rename its name in background. Insert a new layer, and name it f.

Step 3
Take the Text Tool (A), choose any font, color and size, and type f.

Step 4
While your letter is still selected, press F8 key (Convert to Symbol) to convert it into a Graphic Symobl. See the picture below.

Step 5
Click on frame 7 and press F6 (keyframe). After that, select the whole frames of layer f, press right click and choose Copy Frames.See the picture below.

Step 6
Then, insert a new layer,name it again f, select it, click on the first frame, choose right click and Paste Frames. Repeat this process again. See the picture below.

Step 7
Lock and hide all layers , except the first f layer. Look at the picture below.

Step 8
Click on the first frame of the first layer f, select the f letter, open the Info Panel (Ctrl+I) and set the options from the picture below.

Step 9
While your letter is still selected, open the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3) and under Color choose Alpha and set it to 35%.


Step 10
Click again on the first frame, and in Properties Panel, under Tween, choose Motion.


Step 11
Lock and hide that layer and ulock and unhide the second f layer. See the picture below.

Step 12
Click on the first frame, select the f letter, open the Info Panel (Ctrl+I), and set the options from the picture below.

Step 13
While your letter is still selected, open the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3) and under Color choose Alpha and set it to 25%.

Step 14
Click on the first frame, and in Properties Panel under Tween choose Motion.

Step 15
Lock and hide that layer, and unlock and unhide the third f layer.
Step 16
Click on the first frame, select the letter, open the Info Panel and set the options from the picture below.

Step 17
While your letter is still selected, open the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3) and under Color choose Alpha and set it to 15%.
Step 18
Click on the first frame, and in Properties Panel, under Tween, choose Motion.
Step 19
Unlock and unhide the whole layers. We're done for the first letter. Repeat this process for every other letters. Note! Every other letter must start 4 frame after, by comparison with previous letter.
