Yet another great text styles tutorial 

I have been making a lot of Photoshop text tutorials lately, I think this will be the last one in a while unless I get really inspired. But again I needed this text style for some work and I made a tutorial about it.

In this Photoshop tutorial you will see how to make a great colorful text in just a few steps.

First off we need to type in our text I found a nice looking font from the default fonts called "Forte" and typed in my text.

Now in the layers panel double click the text layer to get to the layers styles panel and give it settings as shown below.

Now your text should look like this, this was actually what I needed for my work, but I took the tutorial a bit further and added some glossiness.

So hold down ctrl and click the text layer to load the selection, now make a new layer above the text layer.

Now make a gradient going from white to transparent and drag it in the selection.

Now you should be done.
