As you can see I'm going crazy with text effects right now, I think I need to get more creative for my next tutorial, but for now, you will have to settle with this shaking text effect going crazy.
In this Flash tutorial you will see how to make some text blur out then going crazy shaking, and at the end focusing so you are able to read the text, quite good for an intro or something.
This effect is quite simple, its build up by some motion tweens and some frame by frame animations, so enjoy.
Start by writing the text you want to add this effect to, I just wrote my website url. Now we want to effect to end in focus, as it starts, so in the timeline right click and insert a new keyframe at frame 55.
Now go back to frame 1 go to the properties panel and add a blur filter, set it to blur about 70 on the X axis and set quality to high. Now your text should be blurred out as in the second image below.
Go to frame 10 and insert a new keyframe, go the the blur filter properties and bring the blur down to about 6.
Go to frame 20 and insert a new keyframe, again go to the blur filter and set it to 70 again.
Now we will do a bit of frame by frame animation. This next part will be a bit confusing so try to follow along.
At frame 21 make a new keyframe and do this for all frame from 21 to 35 and then we are ready to make some changes separately.
Go back to frame 21 and rotate the text just a bit clock wise as shown in the image below.
Go to frame 22 and rotate the text count clock wise as below, repeat these steps all the way to frame 35, this will make the text shake a lot.
Now we are almost done, we just have to make the text show up clear for a while, so insert a new keyframe at frame 45. Then the text should be clear from frame 45 to 55, and the effect will repeat it self as mine above.
