Using CMYK Mode For Photographers

If you print your photos, you may want to consider using the CMYK mode in Photoshop to do your corrections. This is because most printers use some combination of cyan(c), magenta(m), yellow(Y) and black(K). So, it only makes sense to limit your colors to make sure they print correctly and with consistent results. RGB, what you are used to right out of your digital camera or scanner includes way too many colors. These colors are often interpreted by printers and the result is a muddy mess.
